For years, we’ve stood by the belief that being homeless is not a crime. But with the current administration’s retreat from HUD funding and a sharp decline in support for homelessness initiatives, that principle feels increasingly under threat. LifeForce Housing First (LFHF) exists to push back against that erosion—not with rhetoric, but with action.
Our MISSION
LifeForce Housing First was created as a non-profit, (chartered in South Carolina), tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization for the purpose of raising funds to develop permanent housing solutions for the ever-growing population of homeless
Veterans located but not limited to North Charleston, South Carolina and to create jobs for the underserved population in our area.

Being homeless does not have to be a lifelong experience, it’s very difficult to work or even apply for a job when you can’t take a shower, have no clean clothes or transportation and a simple home address. These things that most of us take for granted are the major things for homeless people to overcome. LFHF can make this a shorter-term experience.
